Forty artists were invited to create something out of Daisy, an old chestnut tree, for the Pushing up Daisy exhibition. The challenge was to use the pieces of dried chestnut wood.
The project reminded me of times when I climbed trees with other kids from the neighborhood. By creating custom typography and engraving a self-written poem into the wood I'm emphasizing the words which describe a burning desire for nature and adventure. The result is a wooden poster about tree climbing.
